This policy explains what personal data CODINGASSISTMY ENTERPRISE collects, why we collect it and how we look after it. We follow the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) of Malaysia.

1. Who we are

2. What we collect

• When you contact us: your name, email address, phone number if you give it, and what you tell us about your project or question.
• When you become a client: your name, business name, billing details and the project information and files you share with us.
• When you pay: payment is handled by our payment gateway, CHIP. We receive confirmation that you paid, your name and the amount. We do not receive or store card numbers or online banking logins.
• When you visit this website: the site is hosted by Cloudflare, which records basic anonymous visit statistics such as pages viewed and country. We do not use advertising trackers, and the site does not need cookies to work.

3. Why we use it

• To reply to your enquiries and send quotes.
• To do the work you hired us for, and to give technical guidance.
• To send invoices, take payment and keep accounts as the law requires.
• To keep the website running and secure.

We do not sell your data, and we do not send marketing emails unless you ask for them.

4. Who we share it with

We share data only with companies that help us run the business, and only what they need:

• CHIP, to process payments.
• Cloudflare, for website hosting, domain and email forwarding.
• Google, for the email inbox and file storage we use.
• Hosting and database providers chosen for your project, which we tell you about in the quote.

Some of these companies store data outside Malaysia. We only use providers with proper security practices. We may also share data when the law requires it.

5. Your project data

Files, content and data you give us for a project are used only for that project and kept confidential. If the project holds personal data of your own customers or users, you stay responsible for that data, and we handle it only on your instructions.

6. How long we keep it

• Enquiries that do not become projects: up to 12 months.
• Invoices, receipts and accounting records: 7 years, which is the period needed for tax records.
• Project files: until the project ends and the warranty period has passed, then deleted on request or after 12 months.

7. Keeping it safe

We use strong passwords, two-step login where it is offered, and limit access to the data to the people who need it. No system is completely safe, so if we ever find that your data has been exposed in a way that could harm you, we will tell you.

8. Your rights

You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, unless the law says we must keep it. You can also withdraw your consent to us using your data. Email us and we will reply within 21 days.

If we change this policy we update the date at the top of this page.
